A Little Secret On How To Reduce Time On Your Slow Computer
What if I told you that there was one secret little thing that you could do that would reduce the amount of wasted time on your computer? Well there is. The only problem is that is very obvious - so obvious that its almost always over looked. Well, there really is more than just one thing you can do. Its to first learn some of the more commonly used shortcuts that are found on windows and to also learn how to type faster. Sounds really obvious huh? Well guess what, I have spent a lot of time working with lots of different people that are in all sorts of different industries and typing really slow and not knowing even just a few of the commonly used shortcuts that are used in windows tends to be one of the biggest wastes of time.
When it comes to typing properly realize that if you are one of those people that uses the hunt and peck method (hunt and peck is when you use your pointer finger from both hands to pick on one letter on the keyboard at a time) then you are drastically reducing your level of productivity. Take the time to learn how to type quickly. Yes you will start of really slow, but trust me it will be well worth it in the long run - spend some time now to save a lot of time in the long run.
Now when it comes to using the windows keyboard shortcuts you are going to have to practice them in order to remember them so that you will be able to use them without thinking. Now keep in mind that most of the shortcuts that I am going to show you are just for the Windows environment and some can be used on most windows programs (like Office, Excel etc…). If there are some programs that you use frequently I suggest that you take the time to learn a few of the shortcuts that it has to offer - you spend a lot of time using the programs anyways, why no reduce the amount of time you spend looking for things on it?
The first shortcut is used for switching between windows that you have open. Instead of pointing and clicking on them in the task bar at the bottom of your screen, just hold down the Alt button and press the Tab one a few times to cycle through your open programs. To get to your task manager use Ctrl + Shift + Esc - its much faster than the traditional way, especially in Vista. To close a program use Ctrl + F4 and to save a program like a Word document press Ctrl + S. Also if you want to get to the desktop when you have a few windows open, press the windows button + M.
Now what you are going to want to do is to practice these as much as possible and on a regular basis. Try and use them as much as you can when you are using your computer so that you will get the most usage out of them. Trust me, once you get use to using them you will never want to go back.

Recovery to begin soon: Google
Here is some good news after a relatively long bad spell.
According to Eric Schmidt, internet search giant’s chief executive, a US recovery is likely to begin this autumn.
Speaking at the Cannes Lions advertising festival in southern France, Schmidt admitted that the worst fiscal downturn since the Great Depression of 1930s was over and it would be “reasonable to be optimistic for 2010.”
“The rate of jobless claims is decreasing although the absolute number is increasing,” he said.
Schmidt however refused to comment on the rumors that said Google had set up a team of engineers to study the technical specifications of Bing, the search engine launched by Google’s archrival Microsoft.
However he did mention, “Bing is a competitor. We have absolutely looked at Bing; we have actually studied what they do as Microsoft studied what Google does.”
Launched less than a month ago, Microsoft’s Bing search engine managed to capture a considerable amount of internet seekers but is trailing Google and Yahoo Inc.
Bing is due to be launched in UK this autumn where as a test version is already available.
